New Nissan Micra CC London
In 2005 Nissan launched the New Nissan Micra CC in London, it is coupe convertible model of the K12 chassis which is also used for the standard Micra. The C+C was the creation of the London based Nissan Design office.
Built in Sunderland along with its conventional models the C+C is the modern version of the trendy Nissan Figaro which now has a cult following and has been propelled into a "special" car. The Nissan Micra CC has an electric folding glass roof, designed by Karmann coachworks. Being a coupe it has a 2+2 seating arrangement.
The Micra C+C is available with 2 petrol engines a 1.4 and 1.6 litre and a diesel 1.5 litre, the diesel is only available in the Europe. The four speed automatic transmission is only available in the 1.6L petrol.
Like all convertibles the Micra C+C is best enjoyed in the summer but, being in England this can mean limited driving. The Micra C+C is unique in its class, as it has a glass roof making it still enjoyable throughout the rest of the year.
Motoring journalist have been full of praise for this superb coupe convertible super mini, many have highlighted the automatic transmission as the only let down, so best stay away from that.
